まぎらわしい語が 2 つあります。
ironは「鉄」と「アイロンをかける」の両方。発音は「アイアン」で、つづりから思うのとちがいます。turnは「回す」が中心。turn on（つける）・turn off（消す）・turn right（右へ曲がる）と、後ろの語で意味が決まります。
